The car was first restored in the late 1980's and later sold at Bonhams Motor Auction in 2012. The new owner commissioned a further extensive restoration in 2013 which included a full engine re build (re-bore, new pistons, valves etc) replacement of floor panels,radiator, new hood and tonnaeu cover and chassis refurbishment. The quality of the full respray is better than any we have ever seen. In much the same way the leather re-upholstery is staggeringly beautiful. The car needs to be seen to be appreciated and it's clear that it has been dry stored and used very occasionally.
